About the Journal
The Journal of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal covering the diagnosis and the surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. It aims to give orthopedic specialists worldwide an integrated, balanced view of the field and to support collaboration between them.
Its scope includes arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery, joint replacement and arthroplasty, trauma and fracture management, spinal disorders and instrumentation, sports medicine, pediatric and developmental orthopedics, orthopedic imaging, regenerative medicine and stem cell approaches, orthopedic oncology and epidemiology.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and narrative reviews, clinically significant case reports, expert opinions and editorials, short communications, conference proceedings and surgical videos. Submissions are screened for plagiarism and undergo double-blind peer review.
The journal follows COPE and ICMJE standards. All articles are open access under CC BY 4.0 and receive a DOI.
